Horizon Pointe is one of the largest housing developments in Thurston County. There are a combination of alley loading (along Balustrade Blvd) and front loading homes, most have 2 car garages with a few exceptions having a 3 car garage. Home buyers will find a collection of single family, townhouses and condos for sale in the development. Horizon Pointe is adjacent to Capitol City Golf Course to the north and the Burlington Northern Railroad to the south. Hoskins Field, a private grass runway is just to the west and low flying planes can be spotted frequently over the neighborhood.

Horizon Pointe park is a rather large park owned by the City of Lacey. It is located in the middle of the neighborhood featuring soccer fields, big toys, bbq pit and covered picnic area. The Olympia-Lacey Amtrak station and the Chehalis Western walking trail are both walking distance from the neighborhood. Horizon Pointe is located at the southern end of Lacey about 5 miles away from I-5 exit 109.
